Crooked Willow Important notice.
WADC constantly reviews its portfolio to ensure its members have access to a varying balance of fisheries. In light of this the committee has elected to cease its arrangement of fishing concessions at Crooked Willow (Effective 6-4-16). All members are advised that fishing at Crooked Willow will now incur the standard day ticket charge.
St Margret's & Stones
As a reminder, WDAC surrendered the Fishing Rights to St Margret’s and Stones in 2014. Members are no longer permitted to fish this stretch. The venue will be removed from the Club Membership Book at reprint.
Wimborne and District Angling Club is a friendly and welcoming club formed in 1951. We currently
have a membership of about 570 with a good number of juniors, some of which are showing their skills at catching specimen fish in all disciplines whether river, lake or fly fishing. This is testament
to their skills and dedication but it also shows the superb quality of our waters.
We have about 12 - 15 miles of the
Dorset Stour ranging from Durweston mill to longham Water works, an extremely varied range of stretches. Our lakes vary from around an acre to 25 acres in size again offering a varied challenge for those wishing to try various methods.
